New Levels of Worship as we War Over Government

We are at war. Raging in the spirit realm is an ill matched contest over government. (Psalm 2) But as it plays out in nations of the earth—it feels anything but a mismatch. Things have become much nastier and arduous as the enemy tries to convince us he can install his government. A major shift has occurred and the Lord is urgently calling His Church to rise up as His ekklesia, i.e. His legislative assembly in the earth.  He is calling us in a new level of worship and intercession for this war.

Fast Grumbling-Feast Gratitude

Gratitude and praise are the language, environment and power of heaven. Grumbling and criticism are the language, environment and power of hell. Grumbling and gratitude are attitudes of the heart. When life is tough do we agree with heaven or hell? Our heart attitude and agreements determine the outcome of our future!

fast grumbling feast gratitude

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”(1 Chronicles 16:34)1

King David released this Psalm as the Ark was placed in Jerusalem. The goodness of God is the foundation of gratitude and thanksgiving. Gratitude and thanksgiving are like passwords into your email—they give you entrance to the Presence of God! Although spoken about throughout Scriptures, it is the songs of King David where the goodness of God is boldly and succinctly proclaimed; God is good! Without a conviction that God is good, we descend into blame, criticism and grumbling. The enemy endlessly attacks the goodness of God. We know this by the chatter in our heads when life gets tough! When things go wrong, how do we react, and who gets blamed?

When life is tough, our Christian head says God is good. But what do our hearts say? We may not say the words “it’s God’s fault”—but what does our heart say? The questions and fears are the enemy sowing doubt into our emotions. The devil tries to convince that God is not good, simply because the devil is evil! It’s rather ironic—the enemy accuses God (and us) of his own failures! The devil tries to convince us that God is evil. What an audacity. Imagine if God was evil? The universe would be ugly—if it even existed. And we would all be wiped out by now! Every evil tyrant ever seen on earth has always destroyed everyone and everything in their sight and jurisdiction. Evil and hatred co-exist, and always ends in robbery, kills death and destruction.

God is good. Goodness and love co-exist. He gives us life and everything we need to be blessed, to prevail and to overcome.

"Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ”.2

Moses asked to see God’s glory, and God caused His goodness to pass by Moses.3 When revealing His goodness, the Lord proclaimed His name to Moses. His name and His character are intertwined. The Lord proclaimed His name to Moses; “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, 7 keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin…”4  Goodness encompasses beauty, welfare, fairness, to do good, to act right, kindness, mercy. How great, wonderful and powerful is our God. His love and compassions never end. His mercy and patience areextraordinary.

In a world where evil is contending against the goodness of God, we need to secure and reinforce our emotions and thoughts with the truth that God is good. It is not only the foundation to thanksgiving, it is also the foundation for us to co-partner with Him to release His judgments upon the enemy.

Ingratitude and the End–times
According to Paul, gratitude will diminish in the end times. And malicious slander will be addictive and increase! Paul says the culture of the end days is difficult for the people of God. (2 Timothy 3:1-2) The Church itself is not immune from the traits of selfishness and ingratitude. Grumbling was a serious problem for Israel as they travelled through the wilderness. Grumbling is also a problem for the Church today. Grumbling, criticism and gossip are one of the biggest stumbling blocks the Church faces today—and its root is ingratitude.

Having a heart attitude of gratitude is essential to resist the addiction to gossip and slander. Conversely, if we habitually criticize, gossip and grumble, we can get hooked into the end time spirit. At the very least, ingratitude makes us vulnerable and less able to resist the seductions of the spirit of anti-Christ.

Jesus warned that deception of the end-times would cause the love of many to grow cold and there would be a great falling away. Gratitude is a protection over our hearts in a time when culture defies God. A heart attitude of gratitude strengthens our resolve to resist the end-time spirit. The upgrade in thanksgiving is an empowering of the Holy Spirit to overcome the spirit of the age.

The most powerful praise in the universe is when our circumstances are impossible and our hearts are breaking! Therefore, regardless of your current circumstances, consider taking the 40 day challenge to establish a new habit, re-wire your thinking and heart attitude.

Take the 40 day challenge: Grumble Fast—Gratitude Feast!

  • Commit each day to fast from criticism, and grumbling.
  • Now consider any circumstance in your life that is weighing on your heart—health, job, relationships, finances and so forth.
  • Take a few moments and a piece of paper.
  • Write down key issues that are stressful, weighing on your heart or distracting you from worshipping the Lord.
  • Now take that piece of paper and place it in your left hand and raise it to the Lord—and present to Him all the issues you have written down.
  • With these in mind, place your right hand on the promises of God and pray the Praise Prayer.

Praise Prayer

“(Give Him Praise - Pray in Spirit)

Lord God Almighty. You are the Creator of the Universe. By Your great strength and power, You made all things. NOTHING in my hand is too difficult for you!1 You are greater, bigger and more powerful than every circumstance I now lift up to You…………………………(Give Him Praise - Pray in Spirit)

I am so grateful You turn round every situation for my good.2 What the enemy meant for evil, You are re-creating and making something good and beautiful. You are sovereignly making these crooked places become straight!3 (Praise Him- Pray in Spirit)

You have given me every resource from heaven to help me through this situation and to overcome! You forgive my every failure. Every accusation against me is nailed to the cross. Yeshua, You came to earth to destroy every work of the devil. You disarmed every principality and power and stripped them of their power.4 (Praise Him - Pray in Spirit)

Yeshua, Your resurrection is mine. Now I am alive with You and You live in me. Like Abraham, I believe You give life to the dead and calls into existence things that don’t even exist. (Praise Him!)

I thank You Lord for the gift of every person You have placed in my life. Thankyou that they love me, encourage me, and help me see my blind spots.  (Name some as you praise Him)

Heavenly Father I thank You that Your grace is sufficient for me.5 Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. If You are for me, who can be against me? Because I am hidden in Messiah, the devil cannot find me! You are empowering me supernaturally to survive and thrive each of these circumstances. Nothing: no trouble, distress, persecution, hunger, nakedness, danger, or violent death can separate me from Your love. Nothing: not death or life, angels or rulers, anything present or in the future, forces or powers in the world above or in the world below, or anything else in creation, can separate me from the love of God!6

Join the 40 day challenge and see what God does. Watch the shift of heart attitude as you pray this each day. Maybe keep a diary and notice where the resistances are, and where the breakthroughs occur.

2 Ephesians 1:3 (TPT)

3 Exodus 33:18-23

4 Exodus 34:6

1 Jeremiah 32:17 Adonay Yahweh, you made heaven and earth by your great strength and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

2 Romans 8:28, 31
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose…If God is for us, who can be against us?

3 Isaiah 45:2‘I will go before you And make the crooked places straight;

4 Colossians 2:14-15
“He has … wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Yeshua made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power [governments and authority] to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph.”

5 2 Corinthians 12:9  (NKJV) And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

6 Romans 8:37-39  Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Welcome King Of Glory

King David was the first to welcome the King of Glory when he brought the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem. An extravagant worshipper, David valued the Presence of God—for himself and for the nation of Israel. As the Ark entered into Jerusalem, appointed psalmists accompanied it with prophetic songs, shofars, cymbals and harps— they sang Psalm 24!

The Church is in a new season—a glory season! Passionate worshippers and psalmists again prepare to “Welcome the King of Glory”.

Saul to David

THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID CANNOT BE RESTORED WHILE SAUL IS STILL KING!

When Yeshua (Jesus) returns to earth, He will sit upon the “throne of David”—not on the throne of Saul! To prepare for His return, both Israel and the Church need to have the heart of David—it is a heart issue.

Throne-Room Worship

There is a shift and a change, a modification, even a quiet revolution taking place. God's people are hungering and thirsting for His Presence, impacting upon the pattern and experience of worship. Throne-room worship is not really a mystical thing. It is quite simple really.

Why We React to Holiness

There have been occasions we have experienced  or heard about from others where people in the church (both in authority and in pews) have reacted adversely to the preaching of holiness.

Having a Heart like the Psalmist

The Holy Spirit is moving powerfully through the nations, and worship has a key role to play. In the mid 1970's the Lord gave me a vision of fire spreading throughout the nation of Australia. It started with just a little flicker of flame and I knew that music and worship was involved somewhere but I didn’t understand it.

About Us

The restoration of the Tabernacle of David is prophecy being fulfilled. Restoration began when Peter first ministered to the Gentiles. The Jewish Apostles were grappling with the concept that the Gospel was also for the Gentiles.
